Singapore - Shenton Way views

Yet another day of visiting customers office for meetings. I was not ready for the amazing surprise that was waiting for me - the amazing view of Tanjong Pagar terminal.

Customer was nice enough to explain the surroundings and information about the Tanjong Pagar terminal. Tanjong Pagar Terminal is the oldest of PSA’s container terminals in Singapore and welcomed the first containership to the country in 1972. On 31 December 2016 the terminal was closed.

From another corner we could also see Sentosa and St. John Island

Far away you can see Batam which is small island in Indonesia’s Riau Archipelago in the South China Sea. A short boat ride from Singapore, it’s a free trade zone with multiple busy ports.

On the other side you can how much land we Singapore is claiming and the amount of construction happening around the city. The city is constantly under development and renovation. The government has a keen eye to enhance the city for betterment of its citizens. Truly a developed country but wondering how much we are disrupting nature!

Singapore continues to amaze me.
